Religious Education
The RE Curriculum
For RE we follow the ‘Come and See’ Catholic Primary Religious Education Programme. This is a special programme which allows the children to learn about the Catholic faith and to know Jesus more. Throughout the year, we also look at other faiths.
This is an extensive programme which covers a range of challenging themes from EYFS up to Year 6. Each theme is divided up into the following sections:

Respond
At the end of each theme, the children reflect on what they have learnt through class liturgies.
This year, we have begun to think very carefully about the sustainable development goals and to weave these into our teaching. We want all of children to hear and answer Pope Francis' call to care for our Common Home and using our RE lessons for this is a powerful tool.
